Bamboo and hemp warp

These samples are an exploration of intuition and embodied decision-making, guided by the experience of working at the loom. The initial motif draws from the patterns left in the sand as waves recede, marks shaped by rhythm, pressure, and chance. Responding to this imagery, I allowed the design to evolve in real time, altering it intuitively through reversed, skipped, and repeated picks. This process resists replication, resulting in a singular record of one specific moment of flow. The work becomes a visual trace of attention and instinct, capturing a fleeting state of presence through material.
